The School of Architecture and Fine Arts, University of Phayao, organized the After the Draft exhibition to present the creative potential of its first cohort in the design concentration.
On Tuesday, 17 February 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongsabangpho, President of the University of Phayao, presided over the opening ceremony of the student competency development project (5C+UE), integrated with teaching and learning activities. Assistant Professor Dr. Amres Thepma, Dean of the School of Architecture and Fine Arts, presented the project objectives at the Library and Learning Center, Institute for Learning Innovation, University of Phayao.
The project provided students with a platform to demonstrate their capabilities and communicate their creative identity through thesis and design works, while strengthening key competencies in creativity, communication, collaboration, global social awareness, and modern entrepreneurship aligned with future skills.
Highlights included a fashion showcase reflecting conceptual development and the transformation from draft to final outcomes, along with exhibitions in fashion design, jewelry design, and product design. The exhibition represents the first output of the revised 2022 Art and Design curriculum with a dedicated design concentration, emphasizing learning outcomes, competency-based development, and experiential learning.
The exhibition was open to visitors from 17 to 24 February 2026 on the 1st floor of the Library and Learning Center, Institute for Learning Innovation, University of Phayao.
