Architecture Lecturer Dutrudee Makprasert was selected to exhibit the creative work "A Mixed Media Design for Phayao Creative City" at the 6th Thailand Art & Design Exhibition at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, 25 January 2026.
Lecturer Dutrudee Makprasert of the Architecture Program, School of Architecture and Fine Arts (SAFA), University of Phayao, was selected to exhibit her creative work "A Mixed Media Design for Phayao Creative City" at the 6th Thailand Art and Design Exhibition (6th TADE).
The exhibition was organised by The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage, in collaboration with The Thailand Art and Design Network, and was held at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) from 6 to 25 January 2026.
The 6th TADE served as a national academic platform for presenting art and design works, including creative installations, academic papers, research projects, and complete theses by lecturers, researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, and interested members of the public. The exhibition promoted the exchange of knowledge and supported the development of academic excellence in art and design across the country.
Lecturer Dutrudee's selected work rooted in Phayao's cultural landscape, lake ecology, and creative city identity demonstrates SAFA's ability to translate local research into nationally recognised creative expression. The work draws on mixed media as a vehicle to communicate the character, heritage, and aspirations of Phayao as a creative city in the making.
"Research grounded in local context can scale to national creative platforms and academic impact."
