On 20 April 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Amres Thepma and the School of Architecture and Fine Arts joined the University of Phayao Pi Mai Mueang and Songkran celebrations, taking part in the traditional blessing ceremony, the Larb Muang competition, and a collaborative snack booth activity.
On 20 April 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Amres Thepma, Dean of the School of Architecture and Fine Arts, together with the faculty executive team, lecturers, and support staff, wore local attire and Thai woven textiles to join the University of Phayao Pi Mai Mueang tradition and the ceremonial water blessing for the university president and senior members of the institution as part of the Songkran Festival 2026 celebration.
The activity reflected respect for Lanna cultural heritage and strengthened the sense of belonging between faculty members and the wider university community. The participation of SAFA personnel in traditional dress also added warmth and ceremonial meaning to the event.
In addition, the dean led the faculty team to take part in the Larb Muang competition, an activity that fostered readiness, teamwork, and unity across the organization. The faculty also joined other university units in hosting a snack booth, helping create a lively, colorful, and festive atmosphere throughout the celebration.
