Permaculture design for green factory

Abstract

          The environmental crisis was the main issue to focus on sustainable solutions worldwide. It brought to uncertain future environments from natural resource deficiency, climate change and pandemics. According to these, an outstanding solution was permaculture in the green industry by regenerative design for being resilient communities. This strategy led to green communities for everyone and was more efficient than sustainable design. It was consciously designed landscapes which mimic the patterns and relationships found in nature. The key skills were organic gardening, sustainable farming, energy efficient building or ecological village. Therefore, permacultural model of green factory design was a model of sustainable development along with manufacturing for the environmental solution. It helped prevention of pollution, protection and restoration of the natural environment, sustainable resource use, climate change mitigation and factory adaptation in the communities. These research objectives were the green factory research in architectural design and management for sustainable future environments, green industrial promotion for entrepreneurs and good participating promotion in local communities for sustainable development. The research methodology studied the permacultural essence in design system and the networks to adapt them in green factory design as model method. The model described the factory site selection with basic urban design, permacultural factory planning, landscape and architecture including smart management to reach green industry’s goal. The rules of green industry composed of green commitment, activity, system, culture and network in five levels. This research expected to create good relationships of economy, social and environment from individual to public by quality manufacturing, business advantage, ecological friendly, health safety and social responsibility. They also supported green economy from local economy to national economy by city development. These balances made industries lived with communities sustainably and guided people to living with nature further.
